PROJECT 07/11

Clear communication in the family kitchen

Duration

7 months

Assignment

Conception, realisation, work supervision

Planning

Christian Fegg

Project Name

Kitchen row in black

The kitchen has two parallel rows and takes the daily family life with two children. It is easy to clean thanks to the matt anthracite fronts with anti-fingerprint coating.

The straight lines and uncluttered positioning of appliances create a tidy ambience that allows direct access to all the cooking utensils. The continuous black bow pulls on the appliance cabinets were custom-made by our metalsmith. The timeless, dark nuances of the fronts carry over to the accessories and other appliances. The large sink with a black Quooker CUBE, for example, blends in unobtrusively below the window recess.

The niche of the wall-mounted row conceals wall units that can hardly be recognized as such behind a slatted front in veneered oak, which has been creatively slotted.

Plinth lighting with LED strips on both sides rounds off this unusual family kitchen, providing a lively ambiance.
