Christian Fegg

Christian Fegg is the owner of FEGG Raummanufaktur in Munich and has been working as an interior designer and planner for many years. He collaborates with carpenters and other trades to turn his customers' ideas into exciting interiors. His approach is holistic, meaning that he considers the entirety of interior furnishings and can create either made-to-measure furniture  as well as the overall fit-out of the house.

Bavarian-born Christian Fegg apprenticed as a carpenter before going on to study interior design in Rosenheim. He then did a degree in architecture at Munich’s Technical University and gained practical experience working in various architecture firms, including Hild und K and Titus Bernhard.

In the following years, he turned his attention back to interiors, focusing on upmarket kitchen designs. As studio head of the renowned Munich flagship store Dross & Schaffer Ludwig 6, Christian Fegg created visionary space concepts in a high-end culinary environment.

His concepts have always reassessed the nature of the kitchen. They have often been featured in design and trade magazines, because they transcend the functional view of daily kitchen work and form an aesthetic symbiosis with their surroundings. Cooking, living, and eating coalesce into a single unit. The kitchen becomes a genuine living space for its occupants and is now understood as a space that invites people to enter and relax.
